Penn State got possession of the ball to start the game. After picking up an initial first down, their drive stalled out, and they punted. BROOKS BOLLINGER returned to the Badger line-up as quarterback and took his troops out for their initial series at the 39. Anthony Davis got the ball rolling with a gain of 19. Bollinger would scramble out of the pocket for another first down, and then Davis would pick up another first down. Later Bollinger would pass to an open Chad Kunz to give Wisconsin a first and goal at the five. Next Bolinger wold roll out right and pass to Mark Anelli for a TOUCHDOWN. It capped off a 9 PLAY-- 61 YARD drive. Unfortunatly the p.a.t. was blocked giving Wisconsin a 6-0 lead. Penn State's offense remained stalled on the next drive resulting in second punt. Bollinger was then sacked, but later scrambled for a gain of 12 on third and 15. That allowed Allen to come in and kick a 21 yard field goal to increase the lead to 12-0.
