All good things must come to an end. Unfortunatly, for Coach Jeff Sauer and his hockey Badgers, the 99-2000 season came to a sad ending on Saturday night. The Badgers entered the tournament as the NUMBER ONE seed in their regional after having won the regular season WCHA championship, and finishing as runner-up in the WCHA playoffs. However..... it all ended on Saturday night in
Minneapolis with a 4-1 loss to Boston College. The Badgers were shut out for the first two periods.
